In 2021, Link Things was launched with a mission to make language learning and teaching more enjoyable and rewarding for all. This blog was built with a passion for languages and a wealth of personal experiences to share. As a fellow language enthusiast, the creator knew the struggles and joys of the language learning journey firsthand. He set out to create a space where learners and teachers alike could find inspiration and useful resources to make their experiences unforgettable. Whether you’re a learner seeking new strategies to improve your skills or a teacher looking for fresh ideas to engage your students, this blog has something for everyone. Let’s explore the world of languages together!
Why is it Link Things?
As always, coming up with a name for this blog took me several weeks. Decision making has long been a skill that I need to constantly hone. I had a passion for languages and a desire to help others, but I wasn’t sure how to turn those passions into action. I understand that language learning cannot happen in a vacuum and needs to be connected to other aspects of life. It was through my own language learning journey that I came to realize the importance of connecting language learning to other areas of my life.
And so, Link Things was born – a blog that links together language learning, teaching, and beyond-language experiences, all based on my personal journey and struggles. Through my blog, I hope to inspire others to see language learning as more than just memorizing grammar rules and vocabulary. Instead, I want to encourage them to see it as an opportunity to connect with the world around them, to explore new cultures and perspectives, and to grow personally and professionally. Because in the end, language learning is not just about mastering a new language, but about connecting with the world in a meaningful way.
